Trinity Stitch

Trinity Stitch

This stitch is a little more complicated but produces something akin to the popcorn stitch: little raised balls on every four rows.

Multiple of 4 +3 (I cast on 27 stitches to get the 7″ squares)

KPK=Knit, Purl, and Knit all in same stitch before removing from left needle.

P3tog=Purl 3 stitches together

——————————————————-

Row 1: Purl

Row 2: *Purl 3 tog, KPK (repeat from * to end of row)

Row 3: Purl

Row 4: *KPK, P3tog repeat from * to end of row: KPK in last stitch

repeat these 4 rows for pattern

    This is the first site that actually told me how to do the Trinity Stitch. Thanks so much for the help…lets just hope it works now lol.

    I have been trying to do the Trinity stitch- and having to stop and rip out. The pattern I am working with says to KNIT 3 together which I find very hard to do. (Michal Kors short sleeved Aran pullover, from Vogue). I keep dropping stitches and then can’t pickup and fix them.
    PURLING 3 together will be a breeze. I am curious to see that it looks like from the RS. Thanks for the posting!
